The services of DRIZIT South Africa, and PEAT SORB are utilised in the event of local and national spillages.

LEGISLATION:
(a) Road Traffic Act:-
In terms of the ROAD TRANSPORT ACT, our vehicles are registered and licensed according to the prescribed legislation, including CERTIFICATES OF FITNESS. Our Drivers are all in possession of PUBLIC DRIVING PERMITS as required by the ROAD TRANSPORT ACT.
(b) Dangerous Substance Act:- Dangerous Goods PERMITS
The Transportation of dangerous goods and substances by road are done in accordance with the SOUTH AFRICAN BUREAU OF STANDARDS; “ Code of Practice “ and includes the following:
 
1. Driver to undergo training with the preference to the transportation of dangerous goods and are in possession of TRAINING CERTIFICATES which is annually renewable.
2. Duties of operators, drivers, consignor and consignees, include the requirement to be in possession of the necessary documentation and to be in the position to interpret the necessary documents. The interoperation of documentation includes TREM-CARDS, SAFETY DATA SHEET, and SCALE CARDS.
3. Drivers are trained in accordance with the ROAD TRANSPORT QUALITY SYSTEM structure, and their role within the framework of the ROAD TRANSPORT QUALITY SYSTEM.
(c) Training Accreditation
M.N.B CONSULTANTS a registered member of the ROAD TRANSPORT INDUSTRY EDUCATION TRAINING BOARD represent FBN TRANSPORT CC.

M.N.B. CONSULTANTS is contracted to FBN TRANSPORT CC to effect driver training, consultation and assistance.

The transporter must be in possession of a Company Accreditation Certificate to transport dangerous goods.
